Roger Williams is a Gemini-nominated Director of Photography who has worked for some of the world’s most respected broadcasters and studios around the world. He has not only produced entertaining and enlightening programming, but he has also created Inspired Image Picture Company, one of the largest rental and production service companies in Canada. As a cinematographer, he continues to shoot some of the industries most compelling images.
David McIlvride is a Gemini Award-winning Director who has written, directed and produced some of the most respected documentary series’ on television for broadcasters such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel and History Channel. A passionate storyteller, David has traveled the globe in order to tell the stories of people who normally would not have access to a global audience.
Mark Angelo, Order of Canada and Order of B.C. recipient, hails from Burnaby, British Columbia and is an internationally-celebrated river conservationist, writer, speaker, teacher and paddler. He is the founder and chair of both BC Rivers Day and World Rivers Day, an event now embraced by millions of people in more than 60 countries. As an avid kayaker, canoeist and rafter, Mark has traveled on or along close to a thousand rivers spanning well over one-hundred countries; perhaps more than any other individual.
Lisa Mazzotta is a multi-platform content producer, her work receiving several nominations and winning a Creative Arts Emmy Award. Her projects have engaged audiences on some of the top shows on television, for networks such as Warner Bros, NBC and Nickelodeon. Lisa is an advocate of global education and social change, having developed youth leadership projects in Canada, India and South Africa.
Well known actor and director, Jason Priestley has provided the narration for RiverBlue. In addition to his career in film and television, Jason is a life-long water advocate and celebrity endorser of Oceana.
Doug Johnson is known internationally as the original keyboardist for the band, Loverboy, one of Canada’s most successful rock bands and a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee. Doug is also the talent behind numerous musical composition projects that include TV series (multiple seasons), film, radio, song-writing and musical theatre. Currently he can be found working in his road studio while touring with Loverboy and working on various musical projects
